Packing up & getting ready to go

Oh dear Lord - I am going to need to take 2 suitcases I think.  Why is it we (or at least I) never, ever learn?
I've been to enough countries by now, you'd think I'd learn to pack light!
I even sent a box of clothes to myself to Greece this week (and a duvet, for goodness sake!) so that I won't be charged a fortune of Excess Baggage (Olympic Air are not known for being nice about letting people off). :0(

So yes, I find myself surrounded by:  stiletto shoes (will I REALLY wear those in the classroom??), smart clothes and summery stuff.  You see, it's still going to be lovely and warm in Greece when I go back - at least 35 degrees C (read this and weep people!).

So I'll need my summery clothes and my 3 bikinis (?!) at least, oh - and I'll also need to take my puffa jacket for when it starts to get cold in November (darn!  I forgot to send the puffa to myself).
My luggage will be mildly schizophrenic then!  I hope a Customs man doesn't stop me - he'll be rather bemused to look through and see the bikinis tucked in amongst the duck down puffa (yes, Greece can get chilly in the winter)!

Oh, and then there's my new iPhone, my iPod (in case my iPhone breaks) and all sorts of gadgets.  This re-locating lark never gets any easier and like I said earlier, I never seem to learn.

Here's hoping my parcel actually arrives!  I did the same thing when I flew from Athens - Cairo:  I sent myself a load of clothes by post, and it arrived 6 weeks later - OPENED!!!!

Keep your eyes peeled here peeps - I'm going to be going for a short break on an island so my next entry will probably be from some Greek island.  I'll keep you posted.

And anyone interested in visiting the Greek islands, this is a great website to get ferry times, see where the islands are, etc:
